Visitor Request Form
Please complete this form at least three weeks in advance of your visitor's arrival.
When funding permits, the department will support one guest speaker per academic year per faculty member. Typically, this includes domestic airfare, two nights lodging, meals, and airport shuttle. Faculty who invite scholars for an extended research stay, should plan to help support the visit with their grant funds or other funds they may have available. Not all faculty members invite a speaker every year, so it may be possible for a faculty member to invite an additional speaker with prior authorization.
The invited visitors will need to provide original receipts for their airfare (computer generated is okay) and meals. The department will pay directly for their lodging and airport shuttle. For non-US citizens, they must also present their permanent resident card or their passport and visa. For international visitors paid with grant funds, KUCR prefers to wire the reimbursement to the visitor's bank, so the visitor should be prepared to supply this information.
The department will provide up to $50 for one dinner with the invited speaker to help pay for the speaker and sponsor. All others who attend the dinner will need to pay for their own dinner or the faculty member can use their personal F&A funds. To be reimbursed for the dinner, an itemized receipt must be provided.
