Mathematics and Statistics Awareness Month
MSAM's goal is to increase public understanding of and appreciation of mathematics and statistics. The Mathematics Department hosts several activities in April.
Every year hundreds of K-12 students visit the KU Math Department for MSAM activities. The department hosts workshops for 5th graders, math competitions for third-twelfth grades, and invited speakers.
Events are scheduled throughout April. The 2024 schedule will be posted in April.
