Math Graduate Student Organization

The GSO's mission is to serve mathematics graduate students by providing opportunities for academic and professional development, and to foster productive working relationships with departmental and administrative bodies.

The KU Math Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is a graduate student chapter of the American Mathematical Society.

The organization sponsors social functions, participates in workshops for sixth graders and math competition for Math and Statistics Awareness Month, and hosts seminars.

The seminars feature graduate students presenting a research topic and invited speakers discussing topics on how to build a professional CV, website and interview skills.  Pizza is served too!
