Trevor Arrigoni Awarded Chancellor's GTA Award
LAWRENCE-Trevor Arrigoni, mathematics graduate student, received the 2022-2023 Chancellor’s Graduate Teaching Assistant award from KU Graduate Studies to recognize excellence in teaching by graduate students.
GTA Awards are given to graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding professional interaction with students and faculty while working as a GTA.
Trevor entered the KU mathematics graduate program in 2018. He has taught precalculus and calculus courses. He has served as an officer of the department’s Graduate Student Organization, a group leader for the algebra qualifying exam study group, and a volunteer for KU’s Mathematics and Statistics Math Awareness Month math competition and elementary workshops. He is currently co-organizer of the Graduate Student Algebra seminar, a graduate student mentor, and was a co-organizer of CARES, an online expository seminar created to build connections between graduate students in the Midwest who are interested in commutative algebra.
