Bozenna Pasik-Duncan Appointed to AWM-AMS Noether Lecture Selection Committee
LAWRENCE—Bozenna Pasik-Duncan, professor of mathematics, courtesy professor of aerospace engineering and electrical engineering and computer science, and Chancellors Club Teaching Professor, has been appointed to the Association of Women in Mathematics (AWM)-American Mathematical Society (AMS) Noether Lecture Selection Committee for a term of two years beginning February 1, 2022.
The AWM and AMS annually present the Emmy Noether Lecture to honor women who have made fundamental and sustained contributions to the mathematical sciences This one-hour expository lecture is presented at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in January.
Bozenna was named to the 2021 Class of Fellows for the AWM and received the AWM’s Louise Hay Award.
