Dionyssios Mantzavinos Receives Promotion, Tenure for Fall 2022

LAWRENCE – Chancellor Douglas A. Girod has approved the promotion and award of tenure, where indicated, for 50 individuals at the University of Kansas and Edwards campuses and 110 individuals at KU Medical Center campuses.

Girod issued a joint statement on the accomplishment of these faculty members with Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Barbara Bichelmeyer, who chairs the University Committee on Promotion and Tenure on the Lawrence campus, and Dr. Robert Simari, executive vice chancellor at KU Medical Center.

“Congratulations to an exceptional group of faculty and researchers who have reached the next milestone in their careers. Our faculty conduct innovative research, deliver comprehensive research and outstanding educational experiences, and take part in professional, service and clinical activities required of their fields. Their dedication to the success of students and this university has contributed to our mission of educating leaders, building healthy communities and making discoveries that change the world.
